Powder Coating

Powder Coating

Cleaned metal parts are coated by a mist of fine electrostatically charged particles (typically of polyester) then baked in an oven to produce a tough durable finish.

Powdercoating is used for bicycle frames, car and motorcycle wheels and parts, and it also has many household and commercial applications too.

We keep a reasonable range of powdercoat colours in stock (typically from Ral colour chart(Opens in new tab)). We have a range of whites and off-whites, many architectural greys, a number of reds, greens, blues, yellow and gold, and a choice of silvers, lacquers and blacks in satin and gloss.

We can coat most metal objects from a few millimetres to around 2.5m in length provided that we can hang them on a hook or stand them on a trolley and fit them in our oven.
